Beyond the studio, Latifah has played an instrumental role in promoting emerging and established artists, as well as organizing live gigs featuring talents like Etana, Sandra Cross, Big Mountain, Dawn Penn, Peter Spence, and Peter Hunnigale, General Levy..
Latifah’s passion also extends to advocacy. She organizes the bi-annual Sickle Cell Ball, raising awareness and support for those affected by the condition. In 2024, she founded the Hope and Liberty Crisis Foundation in honor of her twins, both living with Sickle Cell. The foundation is a testament to her strength, compassion, and drive to make a difference.
