Known for her deep love of music with soul, reggae, old skool, and timeless black genre classics, Latifah brings warmth, wisdom, and rhythm to every show.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Over the years, she has interviewed some of the most iconic figures in reggae and soul music, including Luciano the Messenger, Aswad, Carroll Thompson, Janet Kay, Tippa Irie, Shalamar, Remarkable, Ms. Dynamite, Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Maxi Priest, and many more.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Beyond the studio, Latifah has played an instrumental role in promoting emerging and established artists, as well as organizing live gigs featuring talents like Etana, Sandra Cross, Big Mountain, Dawn Penn, Peter Spence, and Peter Hunnigale, General Levy..<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Latifah\u2019s passion also extends to advocacy. She organizes the bi-annual Sickle Cell Ball, raising awareness and support for those affected by the condition. In 2024, she founded the Hope and Liberty Crisis Foundation in honor of her twins, both living with Sickle Cell.
