{"id":9285,"date":"2025-10-02T11:03:12","date_gmt":"2025-10-02T10:03:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/radiocardiff.org\/?post_type=members&#038;p=9285"},"modified":"2025-10-28T09:46:01","modified_gmt":"2025-10-28T09:46:01","slug":"apollo","status":"publish","type":"members","link":"https:\/\/radiocardiff.org\/index.php\/members\/apollo\/","title":{"rendered":"Apollo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apollo is a well known face in &amp; around the Welsh music scene.<\/p>\n<p>He started getting into Music from a very young age with influences of Punk, Ska, two tone, funk, soul, hip hop &amp; of course dance music.<\/p>\n<p>With the birth of underground music &amp; early acid house\/warehouse parties, he evolved with the underground movement &amp; it captivated him &amp; his interest into the technical side of things.<br \/>\nHe started deejaying in the late eighties, early nineties catapulting him into the rave scene where he quickly gained momentum playing at free parties, traveller&#8217;s raves, big raves &amp; many clubs around the country. He had his first taste of studio &amp; record production with &#8220;Burning up\/Desire&#8221; released on vinyl on Hazardous Vinyl as Jackal &amp; Hyde (shouts to John Halton. Paul Lyons &amp; Krissy Jenkins) He soon began playing at most of the promotions in the city &amp; beyond, he started producing seriously &amp; has many tracks under his belt.
