I am originally from Bristol and am of an era when Soul music was a major part of the music scene so was brought up on mainly Soul with R&B and \u201cPop\u201d. Hence my liking for Motown, Atlantic, Stax and various other labels.<\/p>\n
During the 70’s I spent a number of years in South Yorkshire and was introduced to the \u201cNorthern Soul\u201d scene and have kept a \u201chealthy\u201d interest in the music.<\/p>\n
I moved to Cardiff in 1980 (for work) and have been here ever since. During that period I have been involved in running the \u201cBlues Dragon Rhythm & Blues Club\u201d, playing in a couple of bands as singer\/Harmonica player and even a little Djing. However approximately 10 years ago I arrived at Radio Cardiff and have been there ever since.
